Hair Q&A
Q: I don’t have the beauty entourage that the celebrities have but I want my hair to look as fabulous. How can I make that happen on my limited budget?
A: You have chosen a worthy goal. There obviously is some star power in you as there is in each one of us. It’s just a matter of bringing it out with the right tools.
You’ll find the rest of the answer on page 42 of SHE’s autumn issue.

IS YOUR HAIR DRY?
Dry shampoos are making a serious return to the centre stage. Once used for the elderly or bedridden patients powder shampoo is a big hit with the catwalk super cool. James Brown has just introduced his scandalous fabulously flirty dry shampoo. Pour just a little in the palms of your hand and spread it evenly throughout your hair. The result will create movement and volume as well as getting rid of all the build up of dirt and grime. How cool is that?

Hair Q&A
Q: Congratulations on your 10th anniversary SHE! I have been a fan from the very beginning and I’m actually also celebrating my 10th wedding anniversary with my husband. I’d like to try a new look to commemorate the occasion and have been considering my first weave. Can you offer any advice for a first time weave wearer?
You’ll find the answer on page 42 of SHE’s special anniversary issue.

Colour or highlight?
If you have a great base hair tone, you’re better off with highlights. You don’t want to mess with nature; what you want to do is enhance it. If your base colour washes out your skin tone consider single-process colour. Highlights look best when the stylist uses at least two different shades. Ask for more around your face, they can brighten your complexion. More on choosing between colour or highlight on the Hair News page.
